Many of you probably know Alessandria as the city of bicycles, famous for the Citadel and for the Battle of Marengo. Its principal streets, Corso Roma and Street St. Lawrence, are the more frequented from the citizens and for this is one of the best points to taste the true alexandrine essence. But what do you think of those non-turisty places, those you can discover only after having read badly the map and walked for km in the wrong direction?
To help you find them, without spending too much time, we ask the Instagram Community to tell us their favorites.
And now for you the lineup!
View from the top
The first one is the new Meier Bridge, symbol of rebirth for the city. Our instagramers tell us that from here you can admire the best sunsets, with the sun that leaves space to a perfect match of pink and blue that paints the banks of the river Tànaro.
In the Italian cities art is anywhere, obviously only if you know where to look.
In the walk between LungoTànaro Solferino and Spalto Borgoglio you can find two new incredible graffiti. One is a work of the artist Tellas, one of the best streets artists of the world.
See you at the Gallery!
Winner for the category "Take a coffee with an alexandrine", drumroll...the Galleries! Every place in Alessandria is surrounded by ancient galleries that bring you back to the elegant atmosphere of the 1800. Not by chance they are one of the more photographed and loved points by the visitors and by the alexandrines themselves.
The secret address
Among the favorite of the community this is surely the most unexpected address. We are speaking of the "Vicolo dell'Erba", precious little strest, taken care with extreme attention that shows off some of the best in the city. Among vintage boutiques and classy locals where to rest after a nice walk, this street will be your new favorite spot in Alessandria.
